The Analyst Tester – Entry Level is responsible for business and functional solution design, technical analysis of FNZ’s platform capabilities, business processes analysis, and end-to-end testing, including supporting client UAT. This role involves examining existing IT systems and business models, analyzing requirements (both business and technical), and decomposing them into user stories and supporting solution designs with limited assistance from experienced Analyst Testers. Interaction with stakeholders is essential to ensure that solution designs meet clients' requirements. The Analyst Tester will work closely and proactively with Analyst Developers to implement quality and future-proof functionality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of platform functionality and business processes
• Discuss solutions with Solution Consultants, SMEs, and Senior Analyst Testers
• Produce Systems artifacts as per FNZ SDLC
• Author user stories using business outcome-driven syntax
• Ensure new business artifacts adhere to procedural and regulatory compliance requirements
• Interact with stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Define acceptance criteria for each story using correct BDD syntax
• Write/Test Designs, Test Matrices, Test Cases, Test Scripts, and Behavioural Models
• Perform structured system testing, integration testing, and regression testing
• Ensure changes are up to standard through functional reviews and testing
• Assist with user acceptance testing and client support activities
• Provide updates to the Delivery Manager on progress, risks, and issues
• Collaborate with delivery teams internally and externally
• Maintain high standards of written and verbal communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills demonstrated through academic or extracurricular activities
• Understanding of financial markets and key aspects of software delivery
